Organized Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) Began At The Harbor Springs Outdoors Club During 2007. Shooting Takes Place Spring, Summer, And Fall...May Through October.

CAS Shooters Meet To Shoot On Thursdays At 2:00 PM.

Single Action Revolver, Lever & Slide Action Rifle, & Period Correct (Slide, Lever, Hammer) Shotgun Stages Are Set With Reactive (Steel) Targets.

Cowboy Action Shooting (Revolver & Rifle) Is Limited To Pistol Calibers, With Most Shooters Choosing .38 & .45 Caliber.

Shooters Are Acquiring Their Old West Wardrobes, And Accessories!

Some Realistic Old West Props Were added For 2007. The Addition Of A Special CAS Timer For 2008 Will Bring Timed Stages For Competitive Shooters.
